The Boston Local Food Festival

Themed Healthy Food for All!, this is a zero waste, FREE festival celebrating the virtues of eating local food sourced from the Boston area, Massachusetts, and New England. The festival features freshly harvested produce and seafood, delicious dishes for $5 or less created with local ingredients and take-away from Made in Massachusetts producers, and local craft beer, mead, and wine tastings. Festival-goers can engage with farmers, chefs and entrepreneurs, learn from exhibits and demonstrations about gardening, cooking, nutrition, health and exercise while enjoying art and festive music. Accessible by the MBTA. For more information visit the Getting There tab.

Festivities:

Explore the Booths filled with Local Food - Enjoy the treasure hunt of finding and buying from our vendors: fresh produce from farmers ready to eat dishes from talented chefs, all including locally sourced ingredients and priced at $5 or less specialty foods, many featuring locally sourced ingredients and created by local independent food businesses.

Gather for the Inspiring Demos - Join chefs and other local food experts as they demonstrate their skills with two chef
demonstration stages, a meat cutting stage, two DIY Demo booths and a Seafood Throwdown sponsored by Northwest Marine Atlantic Alliance.

them.
